Linden Farms is a small family-run dairy that produces artisan cheeses and stores its products on-site. Their refrigeration, processing equipment, and irrigation systems required a constant and stable energy supply. But fluctuating utility rates and power outages were putting strain on their operations and bottom line. We designed a 19.5 kW ground-mounted solar system with battery backup, optimized for high midday usage. The layout allowed us to use open land without interfering with livestock areas. We also connected the system to power the main cold storage unit, with the battery programmed to provide seamless transition during outages.
